Advertising terms

How advertising on a Blockprint postcard works. Your written offer sets out the specific dates and amounts for your campaign.

The service

A campaign is one shared 9 × 12 inch postcard featuring a lineup of local businesses. Each advertiser buys one equal-size spot. The price of a campaign includes the spot, design of the ad with the number of revisions stated in the written offer, printing, and postage to the households in the agreed mailing area.

There are no larger placements or double spots. A spot on another campaign or a future mailing is a separate purchase.

Campaign launch

A campaign needs enough participating businesses to go ahead. Each written offer states the campaign's launch requirements and the deadline for meeting them. A campaign goes to print only after it meets those requirements and the payments due are complete.

Reservations and payment

An inquiry is not a purchase or a reservation. A spot is reserved only when you accept the written offer and make the payment it requires through the secure payment link we send. The written offer explains any deposit, the remaining balance, when each is due, and the reservation deadline.

Category exclusivity

We place one business per competing service category on each postcard. Your category is agreed in writing before you book, based on the services you'll promote. Exclusivity applies to the card you're on. It doesn't extend to other campaigns or to every mailing in your city.

Artwork and approval

We design your ad from the material you provide, or you can supply print-ready artwork that meets our specifications. Nothing prints without your written approval. Revisions beyond the number in your written offer may cost extra, and we'll tell you before doing that work. You're responsible for having the rights to the logos, images, and claims in your ad, and we may decline content that is misleading or unlawful.

Timing and delays

The written offer includes an estimated schedule. Production and delivery can be affected by things outside our control, such as printer or postal delays. We'll tell you promptly about any material delay.

Cancellations and refunds

Your written offer states the cancellation deadline and what is refundable. If a campaign doesn't meet its launch requirements by its deadline, you'll be offered the refund or transfer options stated in your written offer.

No guaranteed results

We deliver the mailing to the agreed households. We can't guarantee that people will read the card, respond, or become customers.

Errors and disputes

If we make an error in your printed ad that you didn't approve, tell us within the period stated in your written offer and we'll work with you on a fair remedy. If you have a concern, contact us first and we'll try to resolve it directly.
